Delivery of Nadura starts again - MeisterWerke launch new Woodpowder generation

11.10.12

Starting from 1 November, the new generation of Nadura products from the house of MeisterWerke Schulte will be available from specialist retailers. At the start of the year, the company presented the Nadura products to widespread acclaim at the Domotex in Hanover. Due to material changes in the technical components, however, it was forced to temporarily cancel supply.

Ludger Schindler, Managing Director and Sales Manager: "As announced in the spring, we are very satisfied that we will be able to supply our retail partners with products once again in the fourth quarter. Demand remained continuously high during the stoppage in delivery, but we are now able to send an improved product out for retail. This has been made possible by extensive mechanical and technical investments and the optimisation of the entire manufacturing process."

Guido Schulte, Managing Director, also had something to say: "We have refined the recipes in agreement with our powder supplier and licenser, Välinge, and aligned them even more strongly to an efficient and optimised production. In this context, for example, we have replaced the cellulose backing that we originally used with a modified wood fibre backing to guarantee an even more symmetrical configura-tion of the product. Worldwide, we now have the first industrially tested Nadura system which completes the surface and backing coating in one production line."

This new system furthermore enables a multilayer surface configura-tion of the product. The press times and cooling processes that are reduced as a result of this enable a reduction in maturing times and are therefore considerably more caring towards the materials. Guido Schulte: "In this way we were able to once again optimise the product attributes and visuals such as the tightness and also the three dimensionality."

The Nadura products are now being delivered without any changes to their visuals or dimensions. The NB 400 flooring in tile format (853 x 395 mm) will continue to be offered in three slate visuals (white, grey, anthracite), Hickory concrete grey as well as Stropiziano light grey and crème; the NP 300 Nadura panel in eight different colours and/or surfaces, and in two different formats (1280 x 335 mm and 2600 x 335 mm).

INFO BOX: What is Nadura technology?
Nadura technology is based on a material mix of woodfibre, corundum and duroplastic binding agents which are pressed together with each other using a shortcycle press on a highly compacted fibre plate (HDF). After the corresponding cooling, the individual elements are then contoured. Nadura products stand out thanks to their high level of durability and break resistance, and can be used as both wall and floor elements.
