"Premiere - Festival of Innovations" - MeisterWerke presents new products at the BDH

01.11.11

MeisterWerke are always good for innovative surprises and as a result specialist retailers were able to enjoy exceptional products that meet customer requirements at this year's industry show. At the same time the range of new products is still manageable.

"As promised at the 2010 in-house exhibition, we are not making any changes to existing collections to give specialist retailers time to establish these products on the market.  At the same time we are taking the spirit of the times into account by having developed a handful of new collections that sensibly upgrade the current assortment", explains Ludger Schindler, Managing Director of MeisterWerke. The new developments' creative product properties convinced trade visitors during the exhibition and produced a largely positive response.

Whether it is the first 100% PVC-free design flooring DS 300 S, which scores with its natural Puretec surface, or the longest laminate chateâu planks LD 400, which impress with their stately length of 2.60m, the MeisterWerke experts lived up to their reputation as the industry's leading innovator. Another highlight is certainly the long awaited use of wood powder technology: nadura™. Whether as Nadura flooring NB 400 or for use on walls as Nadura panels NP 300, the technical realisation using visually appealing and at the same time highly durable surfaces was enthusiastically received by visitors.

In the panels segment, MeisterWerke was also able to earn extra points from craftsmen with their further development of the classic Bocado.  For the Bocado 250 collection the panels were designed so that they can be installed by one person on his/her own. This is made possible by a click mechanism that prevents it from sliding out of the tongue and still gives craftsmen the option of pushing the panel in lengthways.

You could also discover lighting innovations at the MEISTER stand: the LED NV starry sky can not only effectively accentuate the ceiling with its warm white light but can also be installed in many skirting boards thanks to its low installation depth (13mm). Two lenses included in the set also highlight the system's versatility. The LED HV downlights (6 watt), available either in square or round format, also impress with their maximum luminous efficacy with minimum power consumption.

But what would MeisterWerke be without new parquet products? Fans of harmonious oak planks in particular will take interior design pleasure from the new PD 450 collection. MEISTER offers the UV-oiled parquet planks in two widths (2400 x 200mm | 2400 x 255mm) for customised installation. Together with the longitudinal V-bevel and the end micro-bevel, nothing stands in the way of high quality floor design anymore. The company from Sauerland also offers something for parquet beginners: the PD 200 naturally oiled collection impresses with authentic natural wood surfaces in a rustic assortment of planks with distinctive knots. PC 200 can be enjoyed as both a classic 3-strip parquet and now also in a naturally oiled version.

MeisterWerke was also able to announce just in time for the industry show that all smoked parquet flooring now has the necessary approvals according to the supplementary DIBt requirements. "We are delighted about the approvals as not every manufacturer has these approvals. With this, Meister products have made excellent progress in terms of sustainability", says Volker Kettler.
